15/15
10/10. I can't read music well, but I know exactly what C sounds like and I can use that as a baseline to find the other notes. I can hold a tune and memorize melodies easily, but I had no idea I had perfect pitch. Huh, very interesting!
Ha! Perfect pitch, but not a whole lot of rhythm. I guess I'm not surprised since I dance like Elaine Benes.
Good voice
10/10 but I'm a vocalist
I got 8/10 😭 haha I wanted a perfect score. I missed the last level. Because english is not my first language and I didn’t really understand the explanation 😢 I actually thought the answer sounded like a question and the question like an answer 😅
Im an 11 year old with hyperfixation on a few musicians/bands - ended up getting a 8/10 :)
My only wrong answer was the first major/minor and everything else was correct
11/15!
9/10. I got the last one wrong, and listening to it now it still sounds unresolved to me.
9/10 I always thought I would not be able to play by ear😂
7/10. But having worked in construction for forty years, there are some tones I don’t hear. Usually things like the low air alarms on trucks or warning beepers on forklifts.
10 and easy
I thought I knew more about music than my test score shows 😢. I am now crying because music is so important to me.
10 on 10❤❤😮😊
Perfect score
This test is strange, I can't imagine anyone not getting at least 8 correct. I always thought "tone-deaf" was pejorative, referring to people who can't sing or play in tune to save their life. People that sing along to their favorite song and every note is a C type of thing.
9/10 just messed up on the first question in level 6, which I'm gutted about because I feel like I have got a gift for music. I love the oldies like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown, and loads more legends from the 19th century!
I got 7/10 I guess I fit in the top of average
I read a Swedish book on the matter, and the consensus was that arguably one should distrust ppl stating they're tone deaf. About 2ppl in one hundred, was the deduction. So even these 4% might be over the top - as you indeed hint.
10/10. I’m a music student tho
10/10! Nice! The Last Question Was Kinda Hard Tho. The Only Reason I Noticed That It's Actually Resolved And Not Unresolved Was That, It Didn't Have An Ending Note Sound At The End, Which Most Unresolved Melodies Do. It Was Kind Of Hard To Tell, Especially Since I'm Wearing Horrible Headphones, But Glad I Was Able To Hear The Differneces Regardless (Although Rather Tough). Overall, Nice Quiz!
9/10 ... Is there a term for when you can't hear yourself? Because I'll swear my voice is doing one thing, and when I hear a recording, it's definitely not!
I'm smack dab in the middle of average with an 8/15 LMAO I'm no musician, but I've been told I'm bad at following the rhythm when I try to dance. I honestly thought I'd be below average, so I'll take it! xD
I scored 9 out of 10 love music not a musician and can’t read music but I can pick up on chords and notes by ear quite easily and play them on my guitar.
I got 8/10, i've been playing piano for many years, and have been told i got perfect pitch... by many people. also, idk why but question 8 sounds kind of happy to me. It sounds like a B flat major
10/10, growing up i was in fostercare, music and dance became a massive comfort for me, i cant sight read sheet music for the life of me ( i think due to being on the Autism spectrum) but have always had a keen sense of music tonality and learned some piano and guitar by ear.
Got 2/10 and I'm a professional musician.
❤too much easy but i like it
funny, im both.
10/10
Good one
10 / 10 the explanations really helped me answer the questions almost instantly man great video. Only experience I got with music was the recorder and the marimba's in school.
The only test a scored a 10/10 on
10/10!!
8/10 😮😮 im practicing to sing
I see people writing they had 15 questions. The test I did had 10 questions and I had 4 and 6 wrong. Your comment said there is a correction that does not match the test I did.
Anyone else recongnize the first 3 notes of Gondor's theme in 9?
Now ask us to solfege
Why is a portion of the screen blocked out so that you can't see it?
Yeah I stopped watching cos the blanked out part was too distracting and trying to read what it might be saying made it hard to concentrate on listening.
Love to hear again n again
I can count 23/16 as 3,3,3,4,3,3,4 so this was a cinch.
What's with the blurry bar in the middle?
There's smudge box over the question!
Me, a friend or my child, no, but my cousin, my dog and the tree outside, yes.
8 out of 10
i got 3/10 is that considered bad? ;-;
I have no rhythm.
Wow, I'm 28, I started to play the piano about a month ago and while learning I slowly realised that my sense of rhythm isn't something common. Before I thought that every person can count seconds in their mind etc. In the test I gathered 14/15 (Is #11 really pulled? 😅). That is wonderful to know that you have a gift which can be a great advantage in the journey with music <3
Oh! I have just read deeper about the groove on the internet and it appears I didn't understand that question correctly (my native language is polish). So "pushed" is when the DRUMMER is "pushing the rhythm forwards", and pulled is when there is "less energized" percussion RELATIVELY TO the rhythm? I think I thought that #11 is pushed because of the busy rhythm, but now I see the difference clearly :D Thanks for the video <3
I got Above average (11-15). I only got 3 wrong. 1,6 and 15. I play guitar but have very good rhythm!
